The tiring life schedule of today world has brough many changes in our physical and mental health and one of those changes are Adrenal Dysfunction and it is named as the problem of the current century. The dysfunction is commonly faced in form of Adrenal fatigue, it is a situation where when a person get tired a hormone is secreted in the body to overcome it and the large amount of secretion leads to the end of it hence resulting in the fatigue.
There are people who still feel symptoms like fatigues, anxiety, inflammation, and sleep disorder and these people are not actually suffering from thyroid. In this situation it is important for them to check their adrenal level. It is recommended to people to have a good rest, to give short breaks while doing tiring tasks and not over burden themselves with work. They should say no to few tasks which will give them power to work in future.
Another very important factor is to have a check on the sugar level, sometimes it’s the sugar which causes the fatigue, you will feel sever hunger and a drastic change in mood. The fluctuation in sugar also affects adrenal and thyroid. Anxiety also results because of the problems in sugar level so by controlling sugar a person can also have a control on anxiety. So it is advised to eat meals rich in fat and protein and less in carbohydrates. As carbs dissolved in body quicker giving out sugar, protein take few hours and fats longer than that.
Food with good fats like coconut oil, chia seeds and avocado are advisable to take as they are good for thyroid and blood sugar as well. Intake of coconut oil is found to be a good remedy in order to reduce sugar level. Also caffeine should be reduced from daily life as it gives power to depression and anxiety.
Following are some factors to be memorized for keeping up with your blood sugar:
- Fat or protein in every meal, be it in form of meat, nuts or eggs.
- Taking snacks is good every two to three hours.
- Less intake of caffeine.
- Less fruit juice.
- No sweet before sleep.
- Yeast, corn, soy, dairy and wheat should be avoided.
- You should get your breakfast without delaying.
- Include fat and protein more.
- Avoid fasting
- Glycemic index above 55 should be avoided
- Fat and Protein to be added with carbohydrate, with the ratio 2:1.
Nuts, eggs, meats and protein shakes should be included in the diet and there would be food which will be sensitive to many but these should be included.
